Is your child sensitive about certain types of clothing?

Jojo refuses to wear long pants, long sleeves, or anything with buttons or zippers. Sensitive? Check. He pretty much strips down to just the essentials as soon as he gets home from school.

Clothing can be a huge issue for those with Sensory Processing Disorder! (Remember the expert input from Britt Collins, and the stories from a mom of a 4 year old boy and one of a 4 year old girl with SPD?)

In fact, watching Jojo struggle with his clothing made me remember when I was about his age, I couldn’t stand it when my socks would wrinkle up inside my shoe. I could feel the wrinkles under my foot and my stomach would be a knot of anxiety. So, hmm, maybe there is some genetic history here…

SmartKnitKIDS make some fabulous socks! They actually have no seam and no heel. They are flawless tubes of sockness!

SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity Socks don’t even have restrictive elastic bands at the top (so your child can’t ruin them by pulling out the elastic strings, anyone?)! Nope, instead they have a non-binding Halo Top™ that fits comfortably and keeps the sock from slipping down the leg.

These socks contain Lycra, so they are nice and form fitting, and they have another amazing feature:

High-tech fibers wick moisture away helping ensure a drier and more hygienic sock environment. Antimicrobial benefits help prevent “stinky feet”.

What I like about SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity Socks is that they are easy for a little one to put on all by themselves. They are also available in baby sizes, and are form-fitted enough so that baby can’t easily kick them off!

SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity Socks don’t look like weirdo therapy socks, they are available in 5 different colors (including pink) and three different styles (ankle, crew or knee-high).

You don’t have to get jealous, because you can get adult sizes as well. But not pink.

I’m looking forward to trying out my travel socks next time I fly! These prevent leg swelling and blood clots, which is something most people would want to prevent.
SmartKnitKids wants to help children and parents find comfortable clothing that helps them, making getting dressed as easy as possible!

They really are a gem of a company. Our order arrived with some crayons and stickers for the kids! You can also read testimonials from other parents whose children have benefited from SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity Socks
